Napoleon Engineering Services complete aerospace
OEM custom bearing manufacturing capabilities

Napoleon Engineering Services (NES), an ISO9001:2008 and AS9100C certified custom bearing manufacturing, bearing inspection and bearing testing facility, offer its complete custom bearing manufacturing capabilities for spacecraft, satellites, launch vehicles, rotorcraft, and other aerospace related requirements.

With more than a decade of experience, the privately held NES is widely regarded as the industry's premier independent, single-point resource for bearing inspection, bearing testing, and custom bearing manufacturing. With a core competency in high-precision custom ball and roller bearings using superelastic Ni-Ti alloys; wear resistant, high life materials and coatings; and advanced design technologies, the company has cemented its position as a key resource for bearing manufacturers, distributors, and related OEMs.

NES custom manufacturing capabilities incorporate the use of superelastic Ni-Ti alloys; wear-resistant, high-life materials and coatings; and advanced design technologies. Specific to aerospace and space-related technologies, NES products and services support a diverse range of applications, including, but not limited to satellite arm actuation, antennas, fuel pumps, ram air turbines, and rocket engine valves. In addition, the company's bearing manufacturing is complemented by its position as North America's largest independent bearing inspection and test facility. This includes its unique capability to offer highly specialized programs into this market sector, including the reverse engineering of Typed Certified aircraft bearings for FAA Certification, required for bearing OEMs which were not integrated into an aircraft at the point of initial design, and who are seeking their own PMA.

Custom bearing manufacturing capabilities
for centrifugal pumps and turbomachinery

Napoleon Engineering Services (NES) offer its custom bearing design and manufacturing capabilities for centrifugal pumps and turbomachinery applications.

This technology was showcased by NES as exhibitors at the 2013 Turbomachinery & Pump Symposia, in September 2013 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.  The two events are designed to promote professional development, technology transfer, peer networking, and information exchange among industry professionals in the petrochemical, process, chemical, utility, contractor, and consulting fields and among the manufacturers of rotating equipment and fluid-handling equipment.

NES Bearings has the technical knowledge, expertise, and experience with high-performance bearing requirements to meet the stringent technical specifications required by the centrifugal pump industry.

Centrifugal pumps are frequently critical components of manufacturing processes, pumping fluids that may include water, slurries, sludges, powders, corrosive chemicals and acids, petrochemicals, sewage, gases, and high-temperature media. As a result, bearing failures can be both dangerous and expensive and therefore the bearings used in the pumps must be both durable and highly reliable. NES Bearings extensive bearing manufacturing, evaluation and testing capabilities enables the company to produce bearings that perform reliably in even the most extreme pump applications.
